Who Am I?
I chose to go into Hypnotherapy and Reiki for one simple reason — I find immense fulfilment in making a difference in people’s lives.
This could be partly because I’ve experienced challenges in my own life. The journey I’ve been on has helped to understand and empathise with issues you may be going through.
Having decided to expand the options for my life, I took a Reiki course in 2008. Although initially, this was mainly for my own fulfilment, by 2015 I’d decided that what I really wanted to do was to help people.
I took a Hypnotherapy and Counselling course that year and followed it up with a more in-depth course in Hypnotherapy in 2017. That wasn’t the end of my training, though. In 2018, I trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and the following year I took a course in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).
Although I offer primarily Hypnotherapy and Reiki, the other disciplines provide me with a wide-ranging perspective that allows me to draw on the tools I need to help you with your unique issues. In addition, my commitment to empathic listening enables me to help you identify those issues without imposing any preconceptions or prejudices.
So, after an uneven course in my life, I’m now exactly where I want to be. I’m able to provide therapy from my own premises, and I have the privilege of feeling a genuine sense of peace when I’m able to help someone
“Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.” (Gandhi)
Most of us aren’t in harmony most of the time. Even at best, it can make us feel discontent and unhappy with our lives, but it can often create serious difficulties in coping.
I can think of nothing more important to do with my life than to help people deal with these difficulties and move towards this harmony. The techniques I use — Hypnotherapy, Reiki and Counselling — are ideal for achieving this.
And, of course, giving can always give back. My idea of personal fulfilment is to make a difference in people’s lives.
What I Do
Have you ever suffered from stress or experienced anxiety, fear, trauma or panic attacks? If so, you may have tried a variety of therapies in an effort to achieve peace and equilibrium, but the answer could well be Hypnotherapy.
Reiki is a gentle Japanese healing technique, developed at the end of the 19th century by a Buddhist monk, for stress reduction and relaxation. By balancing the energy and removing blockages, it helps you achieve a sense of peace and well-being, with a more positive, balanced outlook
They say it’s good to talk, but sometimes it can be difficult to talk to family, friends or work colleagues about the issues that are troubling you. This might make Counselling the perfect answer.
